| We can not accomplish our objectives alone. We need the help and the support, economic and active, of the community, of the residents of Los Tuxtlas, and of environmentalists everywhere. We need your help. With this object in mind, we invite you to join with us as an Affiliate Member, Active Member, or Sponsor. Affiliate Members: With a donation of only $ 50.00 U. S. Dollars (approximately $ 500 Mexican pesos) annually, you will be helping us to continue our work toward the preservation of the biodiversity and of the future of Los Tuxtlas. You will receive a credential and a decal identifying you as an Affiliate Member. If you wish, you will be invited to participate in the meetings, activities, and projects of DEMATAC, and will be considered for membership as an Active Associate with the right to have a voice and a vote in the general assemblies, and the right to hold elected office in the direction or in commissions of the association. If it is not convenient for you to donate the established amount, we sincerely appreciate any amount that you may care to donate, and, most certainly, you will be included in our list of donors. Active Members: People who have the interest, the dedication, and the time to participate actively with DEMATAC in reunions (with vote and voice), in activities, and in projects. Sponsors: Normally these are business or professional people. DEMATAC offers these supporters, for a minimum annual donation of $ 100.00 U. S.
